Giveaway winner … and a happy visit

The lucky winner of the Tentmaker applique cushion cover and pattern book is

Jacky from Cupcake Cottons – congratulations Jacky!  The cushion and book will be in the mail on Monday.  Thanks to everyone who commented and took part and to Himself for doing the impartial legal bit of the actual draw.

It was definitely Wonderful Wednesday this week – Shirley of Stitcherydo fame came to visit and we had a great time catching up on all sorts of things, including checking out that upstairs quilt cupboard and some of its contents.  I managed to sneak a picture of Shirley as well as some of the beautifully-prepared contents of her travelling sewing box – most inspiring!

I’m off to play some more loud music, cut fabric for borders and get things together for the next class – have a great weekend.

  1. Thank you again Barbara, I had a lovely day too and enjoyed viewing some of those fabulous quilts in the tardis, oops, cupboard. Let me tell you all there are a lot of quilts in there and all beautiful. I could have brought quite a few home with me. Well done to Jacky for winning.

  2. Lucky Jacky – well done! Thanks for sharing your day with Shirley … It prompted me to follow the link to her blog, and spent a pleasant time reading. Good to find someone else with a List of more than 2 or 3 things on it 😉

  3. Congratulations to Jacky. Glad you and Shirley had a good day, and thanks for showing us her travelling sewing box. What she has in there is amazing, looks more like a suitcase full!
