Mostly blue & white

Still working my way through the pictures of vintage quilts – there’s probably only one more post and then we’re done.   Today’s selection of quick quilt glimpses is mostly blue and white, a combination that is absolutely timeless and always appealing.  No learned text to accompany the pictures, just enjoy!

Somehow the quilt above has found it’s way over to England and into my cupboard… and the strippy too.

And to finish on a more colourful note here’s a quilt made from a fabulous early cheater print – amazingly deceptive and definitely before 1900 –

  1. I can see great possibilities with that cheater print. Wish that was in my collection. Now you see I just new there was space in the Tardis for a quilt or two from Pat’s collection. What a fabulous selection of quilts.
